ABOUT ME

30-something photographer, ex-corporate insights manager, now dedicated to elevating family memories and small business branding through photographic art.

FAVOURITE QUOTE

Mark Twain: “I didn't have time to write you a short letter, so I wrote you a long one” (don’t ask how long this page took to write!)

MY LOVES

A good list, cheese, sriracha, baking, training & competing my dogs and Crossfit (one day maybe I’ll get that pull-up…)

MY FAMILY

I’m mummy to a 5 going on 15-year-old daughter and wife to a truly wonderful (if slightly messy) husband. We have two clumber spaniels who love to cover us in white hair and a hooligan bengal cat who can open nearly every door in the house.

MY WHY

I properly picked up and got to grips with my camera after my daughter was born and I realised the value in beautiful memories as she grows so quickly. I also found those memories an excellent way to balance out the insane (aka 4.5 years long) sleep deprivation!

I’ve been doing a loose project 365 for the last 3 years, where I take a picture virtually every day. I’m possibly a little bit addicted and therefore very rarely found without my camera. I wanted to share a few of my personal favourite photos below.

My Style

My style is capturing subjects with dreamy backgrounds and re-touching to enhance the connections showcased.

My approach is always relaxed, gently encouraging families to interact and play together naturally and capturing the moments as they happen. Whilst I aim to capture spontaneous moments, I find most families do prefer some direction so I have a whole host of prompts at my fingertips to keep everyone engaged and having fun.

I know the images I take for you will become more priceless with each passing year, so I put my whole heart into this craft.
